Why Movement Consultation?
Hi, I’m Kristina—a physiotherapist, fitness coach, and NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Since 2020, I’ve been coaching my private fitness clients remotely (thanks to the lockdowns), and I’ve been coaching this way full-time ever since. Not because I don’t want to return to ‘in-person’ coaching, but because my clients found this way of exercising “finally working for them.” No time wasted commuting to the gym and back. No need to hire nannies or leave kids with grandparents. And no necessary gym fees, overpriced personal training sessions, or healthcare costs as a consequence of unsafe exercises, or unstructured workouts.
With almost a decade of experience
working with people from all walks of life, I’ve witnessed just how much individuals can improve their chronic conditions, postural misalignments, or general fitness when they have these two things:
NUMBER I
A clear understanding of what causes their issues
NUMBER II
Tools and knowledge to help them address those issues safely and effectively.
All it takes is…
Getting their movement assessed by someone who knows what to look for;
Understanding what’s actually going on in terms they can relate to;
Effective exercise suggestions they can start using right away.
The way most fitness professionals are trained to work with people is to instruct the exercise, not “prescribe” it. Being instructed means doing an exercise simply because a trainer told you to. Having the exercise “prescribed” means doing it because you’ve been explained why it matters, how it helps, how to perform it, and when not to do it.
Many people are left feeling misunderstood, misguided, underserved, and overcharged for a single personal training session that lead to nothing more than excessive muscle soreness. This is why most people avoid approaching personal trainers, or worse, feel discouraged from exercising altogether.
And this 60-minute movement consultation is
my attempt of offering a low-cost opportunity to share your struggles, find relief from the unknown, gain confidence in your movements, and take care of your fitness—confusion-free.
Sounds like something you need, but not quite sure how it works?
